What to Expect

There are many ways to do this online. Select from the methods below

Bible Gateway

This one at Bible gateway is nice because you can select the version of the bible you want to read it in.

They have several Bible reading plans to choose from; Comprehensive (Entire Bible), Biographical (Old Testament highlights in biographical order), Bible Survey (highlights of every book), Key Stories (in Chronological order). This one also has the ability to listen to the text, instead of reading it. You can also jump easily to a different version to compare what that translation says. Commentaries, Bible dictionaries and Lexicons are also available on this site.

Christianity.com

This one also has multiple versions to choose from, and when you read, it checks it off for you.

They have three reading plans; Genesis to Revelation in order, 3 Passages per day (Start in Genesis, Psalms and Luke simultaneously), Old Testament AND New Testament (Start in Genesis and Matthew simultaneously). You can also highlight, underline, put up parallel translations, show cross references and footnotes, write notes, embolden or italicize words, and change the font, all for deeper study. Commentaries, Concordances, Maps, Lexicons, Bible dictionaries and Bible Encyclopedias are also available on this site.
